My Very First Book Went off to Print

I am so excited - my very first book (I am both the author and illustrator this time!) went off to print Today. It is a Czech-Slovak picture dictionary for children called "Jak velbloud potkal tavu". The book should be published on 7th of April. I really enjoyed the cooperation with the publisher - Albatros from Czech republic. Everyone was very nice to work with. Children's Theatre

It's just so nice to finally hold the actual book project in my hands. Children's theatre is finally moving on to see the world! Keeping my fingers crossed!

I wasn't going to publisht this one, but my mom liked it. So I changed my mind :-) This illo comes from a teacher's guide book (preschool). It's actually been very much fun to work on!

My Work in 1000 Illustrations for Children!

It's been over a year since I got an email from the 1000 Illustration for Children book author Julia Schonlau saying she would like to include my work in her book. I almost forgot about it until my good friend Lenka http://issuu.com/portfoliolenka messaged me she found my illos in a book she just purchased :-) What a nice surprise! The Princess Tales

A week before Christmas, I have finished a very nice project I've been working on for the last few weeks. It's a book called The Princess Tales and includes all of the classics, such as Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Cinderella. A little theatre made of paper comes together with the book and it just looks so lovely altogether!
